So you have a product, think that it may be part of a larger recall, but don't know where to go to find out more information? Well, there are a couple of great resources which can help you get more detail about which products have an active recall notice.
The USDA The FDA website has many useful features that show not only the product but also the issue date, impacted products, contact information about the manufacturer, activities engaged in, and any additional notes the FDA feels are important to the general public. The link below will bring you directly to their site. You may also filter by product. www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls The FDA The FDA site is very extensive, and provides users with the ability to download products into spreadsheets. Like the FDA website, the FDA lists the recalls chronologically, with the most current appearing first. Be sure to cross-reference your product to make sure the date(s) fall within the recall date if you purchase a particular product that is listed.
